Leave your ego at the door, listen and learn. If you do half of what these folks tell you, you'll pass and be well on your way!

Did my direct access here and immediately it was clear everyone wanted me to do well and worked with me to fit me in and see what I needed. After a little time away from my 125 (cheers COVID) it was nice to get out and get refreshed. I was soon on a larger bike (when I was ready, no rushing ahead here) and enjoyed learning the more intricate things on riding.

No detail was missed. I went into my Mod 1 and my Mod 2 nervous, but confident, and passed with no issues at all! As I've already said! Ditch the ego, listen and apply and you'll do fine!

Bottom line: would recommend ATB to everyone. You'll not only receive top quality training but you'll have a list of contacts who will be willing to help you way way past your training and tests.

I did the Intro to Motorcycling course and my CBT with ATB Rider Training and honestly it was a great experience. After some bad experiences at another centre, this place was a real breath of fresh air!

Heather was super helpful and made everything clear and easy to follow, which really boosted my confidence. The whole vibe was welcoming and relaxed, but still professional / very safety conscious.

Would definitely recommend ATB to anyone looking to get started on a bike!

I can't recommend ATB enough. When I went to train for my Mod1 and Mod2 I was expecting to just turn up, do the training, and go for my tests. I was not expecting the kindness and generosity that came after from this amazing group of people.

Im my experience, when you train with ATB you become family. They have very high standards when it comes to training and safety and are extremely proffesional yet they still have the ability to keep things light hearted and fun. 10/10

Amazing experience. I went from someone who had never even sat on an motorbike and struggled to move forward to someone now independently riding with a CBT. Heather, Les and Nigel are brilliant, Heather was very understanding of my nerves and encouraging. I'm autistic and had never driven a manual bike/car before, but these guys made me feel very safe and I enjoyed my experience. I would definitely recommend this training school and I will be going back for training for my full licence! ☺️

What a fantastic introduction to the world of motorcycling! From the very first briefing to the farewell handshake, the experience was seamless. I arrived as a complete novice, my only road skills coming from driving a car; just over two weeks later, I walked away with a full-category A licence, having passed Modules 1 and 2 at the first attempt. That success is entirely down to ATB’s skilled, patient instructors, whose feedback was always clear, fair and direct, which is precisely what I needed to sharpen every aspect of my riding.

The training centre is spot-on: everything you could hope for, a steady supply of hot drinks and a fridge of cold ones at sensible prices. I borrowed the school’s kit; helmet, gloves, jacket and trousers, and every item was clean, well-maintained and ready for action.

The bikes were equally impressive. Day one of my CBT began on a Benelli 125 cc, with the instructors guiding me, firmly and caringly, through the mysteries of clutch control. It was an intense morning, but their calm coaching soon made me handle the bike more confidently. Over the subsequent sessions after the CBT, we layered in the on-road element, gradually building the fundamentals until I was ready to step up to a Suzuki Gladius 650 cc. Moving to a larger machine was initially daunting, yet the skills honed on the 125 cc translated nicely, and the Gladius quickly felt like an exhilarating companion rather than an intimidating beast.

I chose the five-day DAS package and couldn’t be happier: I now feel at ease heading out alone. The entire ATB team made the journey enjoyable and inspiring, and I’ll be singing their praises to anyone who’ll listen, while nudging friends to earn their licences with ATB, too.

Thank you, ATB. Keep up the fantastic work!

After a few disappointing experiences at other training centres, a friend recommended ATB to me and I’m so glad they did. If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would. They truly deserve it.

A huge thank you to Heather, Nigel, John, and Dan for their patience, support, and unwavering belief in me. Heather, in particular, was incredible. After a rocky first attempt on an automatic 125cc, I booked two ITM sessions with her. She not only recognized my potential but also gave me the confidence to transition to a manual bike - something I was almost ready to give up on.

My CBT instructor, John, was fantastic. His knowledge and teaching style made all the difference, and I couldn’t have asked for better guidance throughout the process.

Whether you're a complete beginner or coming in with some experience, I can’t recommend ATB highly enough. They’ll get you started on your biking journey with the best possible support - first-class all the way. I’m already looking forward to coming back for my full license test!

Went for CBT with no prior experience and found it very challenging, though the staff were incredibly helpful and supportive. I then returned for a few training sessions on the pad and found that my confidence on the bike had improved.

I returned to retake my CBT and had a great experience with supportive and friendly staff. I felt that the environment was not pressured, therefore taking a lot of the stress and panic away.

I would recommend this training centre to anyone looking to complete their CBT and just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff that assisted me (Nigel, Heather and Dan).

had a fantastic experience with my CBT. a bit wobbly in the beginning with my clutch control but 10 minutes with Heather soon fixed the issue.

my instructor for the day was Dan, He was very informative and encouraging. His instructions were very clear, especially when we were out on the road. Not once did I lose confidence with my driving abilities.

during the off-road training there was always two instructors present, making sure the additional help and support was there when needed

the bike I used was a 125cc Benelli, which was clean and well maintained.

while out on the road we met up with Nigel, who assisted with the U-turn and emergency stop training. Again, a very positive experience. Nigel also very kindly treated everyone to a hot beverage of their choice at the local costa, which was very nice

all in all, a great day with very professional and experienced people, could not recommend enough

thank you, ATB Rider Training, for helping me pass the CBT
